We Played More Stable than before against Iran, Cuba Coach Says

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Cuba volleyball coach Nicolas Vives Coffigny said that in the match against Iran they played more stable than before.

The Caribbean country defeated Iran 3-2 (25-22, 25-23, 19-25, 13-25, 15-8) in Pool E in Brno, Czech Republic on Tuesday.

“It was a really long match. We play more and more stable than before. The main goal was the victory,” Coffigny told fivb.org.

Adrian Eduardo Goide, captain of Cuba, said: “I think we had a really good game and we fought hard to win the match, which was difficult against Iran.”
