Iran 3rd at AFC U-20 Futsal Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran finished in third place at the 2019 AFC U-20 Futsal Championship on Saturday.
Hamid Shandizi’s team humiliated Indonesia 9-1 in Tabriz’s Pour Sharifi Stadium.
Salar Aghapour (three goals), Ali Akrami, Sajjad Sarbaz, Reza Ghanbari, Erfan Hosseinzadeh, Belal Esmaeili and Mahdi Dehghannezhad scored for the Iranian team.
Firman Adriansyah scored Indonesian’s only goal in this match.
Japan and Afghanistan will play in the final match.
The 2019 AFC U-20 Championship is the second edition of AFC U-20 Futsal Championship, the biennial international futsal championship organized by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the men's youth national futsal teams of Asia.
