Esteghlal Suffers Late Loss to Machine Sazi: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team suffered a late loss to Machine Sazi in its opening match in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Friday.
Atabak Zarei scored a goal from a set piece in the dying moments of the match in Tabriz’s Bonyan Diesel Stadium.
In Tehran, Shahr Khodro defeated Paykan 2-0 thanks to goals from Younes Shakeri and Rouhollah Bagheri.
Sanat Naft defeated Foolad 1-0 in Ahvaz’s Shohadaye Foolad Stadium. Aghil Kaabi scored the only goal of the match in the 53rd minute.
Shahin Bushehr will host Sepahan on Saturday.
