Iran Loses to Bahrain at 2019 AHF Men's Asian Qualification
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national handball team was defeated against Bahrain at the 2019 AHF Men's Asian qualification on Sunday.
Team Melli lost to the Persian Gulf country 29-26 in Group B in Doha, Qatar.
South Korea defeated Kuwait 36-32 in another group match.
Iran needs to beat Kuwait on Tuesday to qualify for the competition’s semi-finals.
The top two teams will qualify for the semi-finals and the winner book a place at the 2020 Olympic Games.
The second-placed team will qualify for the Olympic qualification in April.
