Palestinian Al-Quds Brigades Release Video of Attack on Israel

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Al-Quds Brigades, released a video on Wednesday showing barrage of rockets being shot at areas in occupied territories in retaliation over the killing of its leader Baha Abu al-Atta.

The video published in social media shows the moment that fighters from Al-Quds Brigades prepare and open fire at the Israeli-occupied areas.

According to Xinhua, Abu Hamza, spokesman of the group, said in a short televised message on Tuesday that "the coming hours will record a victory in the battle that you (Israel) have begun and you won't know how it will end."

"We say to the enemy with the certainty that you may have succeeded in starting this aggression against us, but you will not be able to determine the shape and timing of the end of this round of the open battle with you," he said.

At least seven Palestinians, including commander of Al-Quds Brigades Abu al-Atta, his wife and five other Islamic Jihad fighters, were killed in a series of intensive Israeli airstrikes that began early on Tuesday, according to Palestinian medics.

Israeli fighter jets struck at predawn on Tuesday the house of Abu al-Atta in al-Shuja'eya neighborhood in eastern Gaza city, killing him and his wife, whereby two of their children were injured.

In retaliation to the killing of Abu al-Atta, the resistance groups in the Gaza Strip fired around 200 rockets and projectiles into Israel.

"We hold the enemy full responsibility for the consequences of the stupid decision to assassinate the leadership of the resistance," said Abu Hamza.

Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes struck dozens of targets, posts, and facilities all over the Gaza Strip.
