Vitoria Should Pay Six Million Euros to Sign Iran’s Beiranvand: Report

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - A Bola has reported that Portugal’s Vitória Guimarães should pay six million euros to Iran and Persepolis goalkeeper Alireza Beiranvand to sign him.

The Portuguese club has to also pay Persepolis club 700.000 dollars buyout clause if wants to sign Beiranvand, the newspaper said.

Turkish top-flight football teams Fenerbahce, Besiktas, Caykur Rizespor and Greek side Olympiakos had already shown interest in signing the goalkeeper.

Beiranvand has been nominated for the AFC Player of the Year.

He is famously known for saving Cristiano Ronaldo’s penalty at the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia.
