Iran’s Men Team Runner-Up at Belt Wrestling World C’ships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian men’s team became runner-up at the 2019 Belt Wrestling World Championships on Monday.
Iran claimed two silver medals and one bronze in the competitions and became runner-up with 85 points.
Mohammad Nabizadeh and Pouria Ramezani at the 70kg and +100kg won the two silver medals.
Rouhollah Nematian also seized the bronze medal at the 60kg.
Kyrgyzstan won the title with 96 points and Mongolia came third with 76 points.
The tournament brought 23 countries together in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan from December 20 to 23.
