People Run in Fear As Huge Fire Erupts in Beirut Port Area (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Over a month after a huge explosion devastated the port facilities and surrounding area of Lebanon's capital another massive fire is raging at the port of Beirut.
Videos appeared on Twitter showing people escape the area near the massive blaze.
There was no immediate information about what caused Thursday's fire, which sent up a large column of black smoke into the sky.
At least 191 people were killed and hundreds wounded when 2,750 tons of confiscated ammonium nitrate that were stored in a port warehouse for almost seven years exploded on August 4.
