Pakistanis Protest against French Magazine Charlie Hebdo in Karachi (+Video)

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Thousands of protesters marched through the streets of Karachi, Pakistan, on Saturday against the republishing of cartoons about Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) by the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo.

The protestors condemned the desecration of Islam's holy prophet by the French weekly magazine, calling it as an unforgivable act while demanding a serious response from the Pakistani government.

The protesters said that the government of Islamabad should take it as a duty to defend the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and that Islamic countries should try to protect the Holy Prophet (PBUH) so that no individual or group would dare to Insult Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).

The move by the French magazine to publish insulting cartoons about the Holy Prophet (PBUH) has aroused the anger of Muslims worldwide.
