Iran to Make Flu Vaccine in Weeks: VP

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s homegrown vaccine for influenza is going to hit the market in the next few weeks, the vice president for science and technology said.

In comments on the sidelines of unveiling several medical and pharmaceutical projects on Thursday, Sorena Sattari said the Iranian vaccine for flu would be produced by the month of Aban, which starts on October 22.

Iran can fully supply the domestic demand with the homegrown vaccine until the end of the year (March 2021), he added.
