Iran Climbs in FIFA Ranking
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran moved one spot up in the latest FIFA World Ranking, maintaining its position as the Continent's second best team.
During the last international break, Team Melli beat Uzbekistan 2-1 in Tashkent.
Iran climbed one spot up to 29th, while Japan is the first Asian team and sits 27th in the world.
Korea Republic rose to 38th, while Australia dropped to 42nd and AFC Asian Cup champion Qatar is 57th to complete Asia's top five teams.
The next FIFA World Ranking will be published on November 26, 2020.
