Esteghlal Beats Chooka in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Esteghlal football team defeated Iran’s First Division Chooka Talesh in a friendly match on Friday.
In the match held in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium No. 2 arena, the Blues beat Chooka 3-0.
Siavash Yazdani, Farshid Esmaeili and Arash Rezavand scored three goals for Esteghlal in this match.
Esteghlal had been held by First Division side Shahrdari Astara 1-1 on Tuesday.
The new edition of the Iran Professional League will kick off on November 6.
Esteghlal, who became runner-up last season, will host newly-promoted Mes Rafsanjan in Tehran on November 7.
