Taremi Named AFC International Player of Week
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian forward Mehdi Taremi was chosen as the AFC International Player of the Week.
Taremi scored Porto’s second goal against Fabril in the third round of the Portuguese Cup.
He won the poll with 37 percent of the votes.
Karim Ansarifard, also from Iran, was among the candidates but came fifth with seven percent of the votes.
