Daei, Jalali Shortlisted for Nassaji Hot Seat
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Ali Daei and Majid Jalali were shortlisted to take charge of Nassaji football team.
Nassaji parted company with Vahid Fazeli on Friday following the team’s poor results in the Iran Professional League.
Struggling Nassaji was held to a 1-1 home draw against Machine Sazi who sits bottom of the table in Matchweek 11 of the league.
It was Fazeli’s first experience as head coach in a football team. He had worked as assistant coach in many Iranian football teams.
Daei has not yet coached a team since parting company with Saipa in May 2019.
Jalali has also been without a team since July 2020, when he parted ways with Gol Gohar.
