Iranian Referees Officiate at World Handball C’ship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian referee couple Majid Kolahdouzan and Alireza Mousavian officiated at the 2021 World Men's Handball Championship underway in Cairo, Egypt.
The Iranian couple officiated the match between Japan and Argentina at the Cairo Stadium Indoor Halls Complex on Thursday.
Argentina defeated the Asian team 28-24 in Group II.
The Iranian couple had already whistled the match between Austria and Switzerland in the competition.
Kolahdouzan and Mousavian had been already invited to Japan at the test events for Olympic Games in 2019.
