Denmark Retains World Handball Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Denmark defeated Sweden at the International Handball Federation (IHF) World Men’s Handball Championship final.
Denmark beat Sweden 26-24 at the Cairo Stadium Sports Hall in Egypt Sunday night and retained the title.
Spain also won the bronze medal after beating France 35-29.
The tournament was held behind closed doors because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Iranian couple Majid Kolahdouzan and Alireza Mousaviannazhad officiated in the competition.
