IRGC Underscores Respect for Territorial Integrity of Iran’s Neighbors

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Following the release of two abducted Iranian Border Forces from Jeish-Ul-Zolm Terrorist Group and the mischief of some foreign media, IRGC Public Relations Department Responded to some of those ambiguities in a statement.

“Following the statement issued by Quds Headquarter of The IRGC Land Force on February 3. 2021, regarding the release of two Iranian border forces from Jeish-Ul-Zolm Terrorist Group and the misuse of some foreign media, hereby announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always adhered to the territorial integrity of its neighbors, especially the friendly and brotherly country of Pakistan and these two border forces have been released without any territorial violation or military operation into Pakistan territory,” the department said in its statement.

“The I.R. Iran strongly condemns the mischief of some foreign media and will never allow such actions to affect friendly relations with the Muslim country of Pakistan.”

According to the Tasnim News agency, 12 Iranian border forces have been abducted by Jeish-Ul-Zolm Terrorist Group in October 2018 and nine of them have been released that year in cooperation with the Pakistani Army.
