Putin Has No Plans to Negotiate with Czech Leadership: Kremlin

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Russian President Vladimir Putin, against the backdrop of aggravated relations with the Czech Republic, does not plan to negotiate with the leadership of that country, the press secretary of the Russian leader, Dmitry Peskov, said on Tuesday.

"There are no such plans," a Kremlin spokesman said in response to a relevant question, TASS reported.

The decision of the Czech authorities to expel Russian diplomats is aimed at destroying bilateral relations, Peskov said. "We, of course, consider this behavior of Prague absolutely groundless, destructive from the point of view of bilateral relations. We consider such a line of Prague to be devoid of common sense. It all looks like attempts to be similar in unpredictable, aggressive actions to their senior comrades overseas," he said. The representative of the Kremlin.

“The unsubstantiated, unfounded accusations of our Czech opponents are, of course, outrageous. They defy either understanding or analysis,” added Peskov.

When asked whether Moscow analyzed the claims of the Czech side that Russian citizens Alexander Petrov and Ruslan Boshirov were allegedly involved in the incident in Vrbetica in 2014, Peskov replied: "Such completely absurd accusations are not a reason for any analysis." He also answered negatively to the clarifying question, whether the fact of crossing the border by these citizens will be checked.
