Iran’s Foreign Minister, Pakistan’s Ambassador Meet in Tehran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Pakistan’s new ambassador to Iran held a meeting in Tehran on Tuesday.
Rahim Hayat Qureshi met with Zarif at the Iranian Foreign Ministry on Tuesday morning.
The new Pakistani envoy submitted a copy of his credentials in the meeting.
Qureshi was appointed as the new Pakistani ambassador to Iran in December 2019. He served as an envoy to South Korea before his mission to Iran.
The Pakistani diplomat also has the experience of working at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the UN.
