Vakil Complex of Shiraz, Architectural Heritage of Iran

SHIRAZ (Tasnim) – The Vakil mosque and bazaar in Iran’s southern city of Shiraz are part of a historical site registered in the country’s national heritage list. Constructed in the 18th century, the complex was built during the reign of Karim Khan, the founder of Zand dynasty.
