Iran Defender Pouraliganji Tears ACL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran and Shenzhen defender Morteza Pouraligani suffered a torn ACL in his left foot.
The 29-year-old player was injured in the match against Qingdao on Tuesday.
The Chinese club has announced that he needs surgery to fix the injury.
Pouraliganji’s absence will be a huge blow for Iran national football team since Team Melli will have to participate at the 2022 FIFA World Cup Round 3 from September.
