Tokyo 2020: Iran’s Yazdani to Wrestle American Taylor in Final
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hassan Yazdani from Iran qualified for final bout of the men's freestyle 86 kg in the 2020 Olympic Games.
He started the campaign with a 11-2 win over Uzbekistan’s Javrail Shapiev and then beat Swiss Stefan Reichmuth 12-2 in the quarterfinals.
In semifinals, Yazdani emerged victorious over Russian wrestler Artur Naifonov (7-1) and advanced to the final.
He will wrestler David Taylor from USA in the final bout on Thursday.
