Amir Mohammad Yazdani Grabs Silver for Iran at World Wrestling C’ships

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Amir Mohammad Yazdani of Iran won a silver medal at the 2021 World Wrestling Championships on Monday.

In the 65kg final, Yazdani lost to Zagir Shakhiev from Russia 14-4.

Hassan Yazdani in the 86kg and Amir Hossein Zare in the 125kg on Sunday won two gold medals for Iran.

Alireza Sarlak also took a silver in the 57kg.

A total of 800 wrestlers from 100 countries are competing at the Wrestling World Championships, being held from October 2 to 10 in Oslo, Norway.
