Iran's Embassy in Afghanistan Condemns Terrorist Attack on Shiite Mosque in Kandahar
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kabul condemned the suicide attack against a Shiite mosque in southern Afghan city of Kandahar.
The Iranian diplomatic mission has condoled the bereaved families of the victims in a statement and hoped for a firm action by Taliban officials against such sinister terrorist phenomena.
A double explosion at a Shiite mosque in Afghanistan’s southern city of Kandahar during Friday prayers has left multiple casualties.
As of this moment, the exact number of victims of this incident has not been clear yet but some media outlets reported that at least 60 people have been killed and over 50 more were injured.
