Esteghlal Victorious over Zob Ahan: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal football team earned its second win in the Iran Professional League (IPL) on Monday.
Esteghlal defeated Zob Ahan 2-0 at the Foolad Shahr Stadium in Isfahan in Matchweek 2. Newly-signed forward Arthur Yamga scored two goals in the 28th and 90th minutes.
In Tabriz, Tractor beat Sanat Naft 3-0 thanks to goals from Peyman Babaei (two goals) and Saman Nariman Jahan.
Paykan defeated Havadar 2-0 in Tehran. Mohammad Hossein Fallah and Mojtaba Haghdoust scored two goals for Paykan.
Gol Gohar edged Fajr Sepasi 1-0 courtesy of Milad Zakipour’s late goal.
