Iran Eyes Strong Cooperation with Austria
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The president of Iran expressed hope for the promotion of cooperation with Austria in various fields.
In a message to his Austrian counterpart Alexander Van der Bellen on Wednesday, President Ebrahim Raisi congratulated the European country’s government and people on its National Day.
He said the historical and friendly interaction between the two nations and the diverse capacities for mutual cooperation have always paved the way for the expansion of their relations in bilateral, regional and international areas.
Raisi expressed hope that joint determination and efforts would result in the development of relations and cooperation between Iran and Austria in all fields.
On October 16, senior diplomats from Iran and Austria held the fifth round of political negotiations between the two countries in Tehran.
They weighed plans to boost relations between the two countries and discussed the latest developments in Afghanistan and Yemen.
