China Withdraws from World Weightlifting C’ships over COVID-19
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – China withdrew its team from the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) World Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The decision has been taken because of travel and quarantine difficulties caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The competition is scheduled to be held in Tashkent from December 7 to 17.
Iran will send 10 men and four women weightlifters to the competition.
