AFC Competitions and Qualifiers Draw Dates Confirmed
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The 2022 season is poised to start on a high note with the draw dates confirmed for the AFC Asian Cup China 2023 Qualifiers Final Round, AFC Futsal Asian Cup Kuwait 2022 Qualifiers and the AFC Champions League and AFC Cup Group Stages.
The AFC Futsal Asian Cup Kuwait 2022 Qualifiers will be the first draw held virtually on January 6 in Kuala Lumpur with a total of 32 Member Associations (MAs) battling for the available 15 slots to join hosts Kuwait.
Just 11 days later, Asia’s leading 40 clubs, including defending champions Al-Hilal SFC from Saudi Arabia, will then discover their opponents in the anticipated AFC Champions League Group Stage draw on January 17 with the AFC Cup 2022 Group Stage draw also held on the same day with the timings announced soon.
The focus will then shift to the AFC Asian Cup China 2023 Qualifiers Final Round draw on February 24 where 24 MAs will be drawn into six groups of four teams with 11 tickets available to Asia’s marquee national team competition which begins from June 16 to July 16, 2023.
