Iranian Women Tennis Player Safi to Compete in Australian Junior C’ships

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian tennis player Meshkatolzahra Safi left Tehran on Monday to participate at the 2022 Australian Open Junior Championships.

She will be accompanied by her Serbian coach in the competition.

The Australian Open Junior Championships is one of the four Junior Grand Slam tournaments played as part of the ITF Junior 18/u world circuit.

The 2022 Australian Open is a Grand Slam tennis tournament that started on January 17 at Melbourne Park and will run until January 30.

It is the 110th edition of the Australian Open, the 54th in the Open Era, and the first Grand Slam of the year. The tournament will consist of events for professional players in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Junior and wheelchair players will compete in singles and doubles tournaments.
