Taremi Invited to Iran Football Team
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Mehdi Taremi, who had been left out of Iran’s squad for the World Cup preliminaries against Lebanon and Syria, has been invited to Team Melli for two matches against Iraq and the UAE.
The Porto striker had been dropped from the list after alleged conflict with coach Dragan Skocic.
Skocic invited Taremi for upcoming matches on Sunday.
Team Melli will play Iraq and the UAE on January 27 and February 1 in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium respectively.
