Iran’s Top General Hopes for Peace in Muslim Eid Message
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – In congratulatory messages to senior military officials of Islamic nations on the occasion of Eid al-Mab’ath, Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces Major General Mohammad Hossein Baqeri expressed hope for peace and friendship in the world.
The top Iranian commander on Monday sent separate messages to high-ranking military officials of the Islamic countries, offering warm wishes on the occasion of Eid al-Mab’ath -the anniversary of the day Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was chosen as God’s messenger.
The Iranian general expressed hope that abiding by the teachings of Islam as well as close rapport, unity, and fraternity among the Muslim states would contribute to peace, affection, friendship and all other values that the world needs today.
He also voiced the Iranian Armed Forces’ readiness to expand military and defense cooperation with the Muslim countries.
