President Congratulates Iranian Wrestling Squad on Asian Title
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi congratulated the country's freestyle wrestling team on winning the title of the Asian Championship in Mongolia.
In a message on Sunday, Raisi congratulated the national freestyle wrestling team on winning the title in the Asian Championship.
“This victory, which was achieved by the young wrestling talents of our country, showed another manifestation of the ability, will and high capacity of our dear young people,” the president said, according to his website.
“I congratulate the honorable people of Iran on this valuable achievement and sincerely thank each and every athlete, coach and other wrestling professionals,” he added.
The 2022 Asian Wrestling Championships started in Ulaanbaatar on April 19 and finished on April 24.
