Iran Wins 2022 CAFA U-16 Championship
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran finished in first place in the 2022 CAFA U-16 Championship on Friday.
The Iranian team defeated Tajikistan 7-0 in its last match and claimed the title with 10 points.
Iran started the campaign with 2-2 draw against Uzbekistan and defeated Afghanistan 1-0 and Kyrgyzstan 2-0.
Reza Ghandipour of Iran was also selected as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the competition.
