Iran to Participate at 2022 IBSA Judo World Championships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will send judo practitioners to the 2022 IBSA (International Blind Sports Federation) Judo World Championships to Baku, capital of the Azerbaijan.
The Championships will feature individual and team events.
The classification will be between 5 and 7 of November, and event dates between 8 and 10 of November.
Alireza Amini, head of Iran’s Para Judo Committee, said that Iran will compete in the competition.
“Since the competition serves as qualification for the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, we will send the judo practitioners who are capable of winning the medal in Paralympics,” he said.
