Persepolis Suffers Home Loss against Tractor: IPL
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team suffered a 1-0 home loss against Tractor on Sunday in the Iran Professional League (IPL).
In the match, held at the Azadi Stadium in Tehran, Mohammad Abbaszadeh scored the only goal of the match in the 75th minute.
Persepolis midfielder Mehdi Torabi missed a penalty in the 88th minute.
Sepahan beat Tehran-based club Havadar 2-1 in an away match.
Mohammad Javad Mohammadi scored for Havadar in the sixth match but Omid Noorafkan equalized the match in the 25th minute.
Ramin Rezaeian scored the winner just seconds before the break.
Sanat Naft Abadan and Mes Rafsanjan shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
Persepolis sits top with 14 points, followed by Esteghlal.
