Iran Raps US’ Hypocrisy, Support for Riots

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian took a swipe at the White House for backing the riots in Iran, urging the US president to abandon his hypocritical policies.

“Simultaneous with open support for violence & terror during recent riots in Iran, WH (White House) is reaching out for an agreement,” the top Iranian diplomat said in a post on his Twitter account on Friday.

“Mr. Biden: end this hypocrisy—incl support for terror & ISIS,” Amirabdollahian added.

He finally recalled that November 3rd marks the National Day Against Global Arrogance in Iran.

Iranian people from all walks of life poured to the streets in Tehran and over 900 other cities across the country on Friday to mark the day.

In a speech to the demonstration in Tehran, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi mocked his American counterpart’s comments about plans to free Iran as a symptom of Biden’s absent-mindedness, saying Iran has been freed 43 years ago and will never be captivated by the US again.
