Sitting Volleyball World Championships: Iran’s Women’s Team Loses to Slovenia
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was defeated against Slovenia 3-1 (25-21, 27-25, 20-25, 25-16) at the 2022 Sitting Volleyball World Championships Saturday night.
The Iranian women had lost to the US 3-1 in its first match.
Iran will meet Canada in its third match Sunday night.
Team Melli Banovan is scheduled to play Canada Sunday night. The men’s and women’s competitions started on Friday in Bosnia and Herzegovina's capital Sarajevo and will run until November 11.
