Hassan Yazdani Takes Gold at Zagreb Open 2023
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Hassan Yazdani of Iran claimed a gold medal in the Zagreb Open Ranking Series event Wednesday night.
The Olympic gold medalist defeated Japanese opponent Hayato Ishiguro 13-2 in the final match of the 86kg.
Yazdani had defeated Sebastian Jezierzański (POL), Abubakr Abakarov (AZE) and Mark Hall (USA) before securing his place in the final match.
The 2023 Grand Prix Zagreb Open is a wrestling event being held in Zagreb, Croatia from February 1 to 5, 2023.
