Zagreb Open 2023: Zare Wins Iran’s Fourth Gold
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Amir Hossein Zare claimed a gold medal in the Zagreb Open Ranking Series event.
He won the gold medal after Giorgi Meshvildishvili withdrew from the final match of the 125kg.
Robert Baran from Poland and Hungarian Daniel Ligeti claimed the bronze medal.
Iranian freestylers Reza Atri (61kg), Ali Savadkouhi (79kg) and Hassan Yazdani (86kg) had previously won three gold medals.
The 2023 Grand Prix Zagreb Open, is a wrestling event, is being held in in Zagreb, Croatia February 1 to 5, 2023.
