Iran to Play Hong Kong at Asian Water Polo C’ship Opener
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will start the 2023 Asian Water Polo Championship with a match against Hong Kong on Wednesday.
Iran is drawn in Group B along with Kazakhstan, the Philippines and Hong Kong.
Team Melli will also play Kazakhstan and the Philippines in the following days.
Group A consists of China, Uzbekistan, Singapore and Thailand.
The 2023 Asian Water Polo Championship will be held from 22 to 27 March in Singapore.
It will be the Asian continental qualification for the 2023 FINA Men's Water Polo World Cup.
