All Enemy’s Plots Against Iran Frustrated: General Staff
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Islamic Republic of Iran has gained such massive clout in confrontation with the hegemonic powers in the world that all military and security options used by the enemies have become abortive, the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces said on Thursday.
The Islamic Revolution has endowed the freedom-seeking people and nations across the world with the spirit of spirituality, independence-seeking and standing against persecution, the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces said in a statement in commemoration of the anniversary of beginning of the Islamic Republic on Farvardin 12th, dubbed the “Islamic Republic Day”.
The statement said the Islamic Revolution’s acceptability and massive spiritual clout among the free nations in the battle against the hegemonic system have created a situation in which all military, security, political, and cultural options of the enemies in their campaign against the Iranian nation have been frustrated and impaired.
It also noted that Iran’s astounding progress and growing strength forced the hegemony to employ all of its capacities to hinder the Islamic Republic’s power, pointing to the plots hatched by the enemies, above all the US and the Zionist regime, to foment riots in Iran in the past autumn.
Highlighting the failure of the enemy’s hybrid war and its futile attempts to disrupt the public security in Iran through riots, the statement said the huge turnout of Iranians in the February 11 demonstrations marking the anniversary of victory of the Islamic Revolution proved the miscalculation of the adversaries.
On Saturday, April 1, Iran is going to celebrate the 44th anniversary of the outset of the Islamic Republic as the country’s official ruling system, which was approved by the overwhelming majority of Iranians in a landmark referendum back in 1979.
