Adobe Launches AI Image Generator Tool for Enterprise Customers

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Adobe has announced the availability of its Firefly generative image generator for enterprise customers, allowing them to customize the model with their own branded assets.

Additionally, the company is bringing its Adobe Express design app, previously known as Adobe Spark, to enterprise users, providing them access to Firefly through this platform.

"Enterprise leaders expect content demands will increase by five-fold over the next two years, making it imperative for them to drive efficiencies internally," said David Wadhwani, President of Digital Media Business at Adobe. He added, "This new enterprise offering empowers users of any skill level to instantly turn ideas into content with Firefly, while tapping into the power of Express and Creative Cloud to quickly modify assets and deliver standout designs."

This announcement follows Adobe's recent integration of Firefly into Photoshop, where it has already been utilized over 150 million times. Adobe is swiftly integrating these new capabilities across its product portfolio, in line with other major tech companies.

One significant advantage of Firefly is that it produces commercially safe images, a feature Adobe has focused on since the launch. The model is trained on images from Adobe's stock imagery marketplace, as well as openly licensed and public domain content. This ensures that Adobe has the rights to all the images used, eliminating copyright concerns. In return, the model may have some limitations in the types of images it can generate. However, in the enterprise context, commercial safety is likely to take precedence over flexibility. Adobe is confident in this approach and will indemnify businesses using Firefly-generated images.

Alongside Firefly, Adobe has introduced several other generative AI-powered services as part of its Sensei GenAI platform. These services encompass text and data-centric models that leverage multiple large language models, including OpenAI through Microsoft Azure and the Google-incubated FLAN-T5 model.

One notable addition is the generative AI-based marketing copy generator, currently in beta, available for Adobe Experience Manager and Adobe Journey Optimized. This feature enables brands to edit, rephrase, and summarize their marketing copy while selecting their preferred tone of voice. Adobe also allows brands to fine-tune the model with their own data, ensuring that the automatically generated content aligns with their brand identity.

Adobe's Customer Journey Analytics users can now utilize natural language queries for data analysis, and the service can automatically caption charts and graphs. Additionally, a new chat tool is available to brands, providing an automated way to interact with online prospects, address product inquiries, and assist sales teams with customized responses and summarized interactions within Marketo Engage.

According to Adobe, they are already collaborating with "hundreds of brands," including Mattel, IBM, and Dentsu, to help them adopt these AI-powered tools.
