Esteghlal Keeper Mehdi Rahmati Out for Four Weeks
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Esteghlal goalkeeper Mehdi Rahmati could be out for as long as four weeks due to a thigh injury.
Rahmati suffered a tear of the rectus femoris muscle in the match against Tractor Sazi.
The medical examination showed that the goalie will be out for one month.
On Tuesday, the Blues defeated Tractor Sazi 2-1 in Tabriz’s Yadegare Emam Stadium and advanced to Iran’s Hazfi Cup final.
Rahmati missed Esteghlal clash against Siahjamegan, scheduled for Sunday.
