Iran Advances to AFC Women’s Futsal Championship Final
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran qualified for the final match of the AFC Women’s Futsal Championship 2018 on Thursday.
Team Melli defeated Vietnam 5-0 at the Indoor Stadium Huamark in Bangkok, Thailand.
Arezoo Sadaghanizadeh (5th), Fatemeh Etedadi (10th, 37th), Sara Shirbeigi (14th) and Fahimeh Zarei (16th) scored for the Iranian futsal team.
Japan also advanced to the final match, edging past Thailand 2-1.
Iran will meet Japan in Saturday’s AFC Women’s Futsal Championship 2018 final.
Iranian women's futsal team claimed the title of the first edition, which was held in Malaysia in 2015.
