Pro-Migrant Rally Held in US City of San Diego (+Video)
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Over a hundred voiced their support for the migrants in Tijuana who are being denied entry into the US, during a protest rally in San Diego on Sunday.
The rally comes as a group of the migrants clashed with border police after trying to breach the US-Mexico border crossing near Tijuana on Sunday.
US authorities deployed tear gas as scores of migrants crossed the dry bed of the Tijuana River and attempted to make their way towards the crossing.
The border was temporarily closed after the incident, with traffic being stopped in both directions.
