Israeli Army Kills Palestinian in West Bank

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Israeli troops killed a Palestinian man in the occupied West Bank in clashes during anti-occupation protests along the border between the Gaza Strip and the Israeli-occupied territories.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said that Mahmoud Nakhla, 18, was shot in the abdomen and died at a medical center in Ramallah, as Israeli soldiers clashed with dozens of Palestinians throwing rocks, AP reported.

Street clashes erupted Friday afternoon between Palestinian demonstrators and Israeli forces outside Ramallah, with protesters slinging rocks and Israeli soldiers responding with tear gas and live bullets.

The Palestinian Healthy Ministry said two protesters were wounded by bullets, one critically.

Meanwhile in Gaza, 75 Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire as thousands demonstrated along the perimeter fence separating Gaza from Israel, the Health Ministry said.

The weekly protests have been taking place since March, demanding an end to a crippling blockade on the strip.
