Bolat Niyazymbetov Named Iran’s Boxing Coach

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Kazakhstani coach Bolat Niyazymbetov has been named as new head coach of Iran boxing team.

Niyazymbetov is a former Light Welterweight boxer. He won a bronze medal in the 1996 Summer Olympics.

The 47-year-old coach will replace Akbar Ahadi in the Iranian team.

Niyazymbetov has reached a one-year agreement with Iran.

Cuban Fernandez Jimenez had already coached Iran boxing team.
