Friendly: Persepolis Edges Paykan
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team defeated Paykan in a friendly match on Wednesday.
The two teams are preparing for the new season of the Iran Professional League (IPL).
Shoja Khalilzadeh scored the only goal of the match in the 80th minute in Tehran’s Shahid Kazemi Stadium.
Gabriel Calderon’s Persepolis is going to win the IPL title for the fourth time in a row.
The exact date of the beginning of the new season has not yet been announced.
