Bahman Asgari Wins Bronze at Karate 1-Premier League
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Bahman Asgari claimed a bronze medal at the Karate 1 - Premier League Moscow on Sunday.
He defeated Spain’s Rodrigo Ibanez 3-1 in the bronze medal match at the male kumite -75kg weight category.
Azerbaijan’s Rafael Aghayev defeated Matus Lieskovsky from Slovakia 1-0 in the final match to win a gold medal.
The competition has brought nearly 700 competitors from 85 countries together in Moscow, Russia.
The competition started on Friday, October 4 and will continue until Sunday when the medal bouts will be celebrated.
