Iran Loses to China at IBSA Goalball Asia-Pacific C’ships
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was defeated against China 9-5 at the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) Goalball Asia-Pacific Championships on Saturday.
Iran, who had earlier defeated Thailand, South Korea and Indonesia, is scheduled to play Australia and Japan on Sunday.
The champion of both the men's and women's events will qualify for the Paralympics, providing they have not already booked their place.
If that happens, the next best-ranked side will advance to next year's Games.
In the men's event seven teams will be in action until December 10.
